CHSAA

Colorado High School Athletics Association (CHSAA) is the second of the two seasons we play in each school year. The CHSAA season runs from November to February. Our Wolves team is a co-op of primarily Grandview, Cherokee Trail, Eaglecrest, Overland, Smoky Hill, and Aurora Public Schools.

The 2025/2026 Grandview High School CHSAA season will begin on November 10, 2025 with a three day tryout event. Games will begin on November 21, 2025 and the regular season will be concluded by February 14, 2026. Playoffs begin after the end of the regular season.

Grandview High School will have both Varsity and Junior Varsity teams for the upcoming 2025-26 season.

There will be one 6am weekday practice, as well as 1-2 weekday practices in the evening. Dryland will also be provided weekly, typically paired before or after a team's on ice time. Players are expected to participate in all dryland and ice time practices.

Practices and dryland will take place at Big Bear Ice Arena.

Registration for Grandview High School hockey is a multiple step process and is BRAND new this season.

Registration closes on 11/3. Hockey families are encouraged to register early!

1. Register your player via the wolvesahc.com registration button to the right. There is no cost during this step. All payments for the CHSAA season will be made to Grandview High School. Registration via our wolvesahc.com site helps the coaching staff properly plan for tryouts and allows for team communication throughout the season.
2. Player physical. Click here to download the required form. This new form must be completed prior to registering at the Grandview High School site during step 3. Physicals are valid for one year (365 days), and they must be submitted/received before you can tryout.
3. Register your player at the official (CCSD) Grandview website here. Registration on the Grandview site is open until 11/3.
4. Pay a $500 deposit for ice fees at this link. The remaining season dues will be requested after tryouts. Fees will be assessed once we know how many players make each team, but we are looking at roughly $1,800 for JV players and $2,300 for Varsity players.

• CHSAA approved physical form signed and dated by the doctor. THE BOTTOM OF PAGE 4 MUST BE SIGNED BY STUDENT AND PARENT/GUARDIAN

• Emergency Contact Information
• Allergy and medication information

Notes:

Any student athlete enrolled outside of CCSD, but eligible to play hockey for Grandview High School, please complete the following steps:

1. Complete this FORM and email it to cyoung33@cherrycreekschools.org prior to registration. This form needs to be completed every year, so please ensure you complete a new form for the 2025-2026 school year.
2. Complete Online Enrollment for Admissions to accept your player. Follow the link and complete as requested. You must contact the District Admissions Office to receive an assigned District ID.
